Matthew was born and raised in Flemington, New Jersey. He attended Villanova University and received a bachelor's degree in History, where he discovered his passion for reading, writing, and thinking critically.

Matthew then pursued his law degree at the University of Miami. While there, Matthew focused his studies on transactional law and real estate. To supplement his legal studies, Matthew simultaneously pursued an MBA degree. Beyond his studies, Matthew focused his extra time on serving the community and was a proud big brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. He was also involved in several law and business school student organizations and took advanced-level Portuguese classes.

Prior to joining Cobb Law Group, Matthew worked in the real estate development industry where he handled both legal and business matters. He was involved in contract negotiation and drafting acquisitions, and entitlements of large-scale commercial and residential projects in Florida and Tennessee. Matthew also spent time reviewing documents during the discovery phases of highly complex securities litigation cases.

Matthew is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Florida and is a member of the Nashville Bar Association.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife, Natalia, and his two daughters, Camila and Juliana. He is also an avid fan of the New York Giants.
